L.A. Lucas was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. With experience in teaching drama and a burning desire to tell stories, L.A. enrolled in New York University’s film production program. During this time, L.A. honed on directing, screenwriting, editing and producing. L.A. was awarded two scholarships: NYU’s Technisphere Achievement Award and the Andreas Zahler Scholarship. L.A.’s ability to tell compelling stories with a unique visual style has garnished an assortment of projects the accolades of the awarded official selection in multiple film festivals and a sponsorship from the New York Foundation for the Arts. L.A. Lucas has built an impressive body of works from motion pictures, television shows, documentaries, music videos, commercials, reality shows, and more.
